James is Three!

Yesterday our little Jamesy turned three! He has been so excited for his birthday to come for a long time now! It did not quite turn out the way he had been requesting (a bowling party with green balloons, a blue football cake, and Jake) because he had a very high fever the past couple of days. We hope to celebrate more next week. I am sure he will not mind! James still LOVES cars! He could tell which presents had matchbox car packages inside and he snuck to open those while Mom was busy doing other things.

We love our James so much! James has always been a happy, active, loving little man. It has also been fun getting to know James better this year as he has made great strides in communication. In fact, we are so proud of James testing out of the Early Intervention program as he is now at age level for his expressive speech! James loves to role play, use his imagination, and play with any and all kids! He prays for cars and trains every day and he is a sweet big brother. He always makes sure I know when Maddie is crying. This past year James took gymnastics, music and swimming...and he is about to start on a soccer team this spring! James loves to sing and dance and he has seen the movie Cars 1,000,000,000 times! We love James!!!!

Blogging Break & News

Hi!!

So, in order to enforce a blogging break I made my blog private and did not invite anyone. I thought it would be nice to have one less pressure on my "to do" list while adjusting to many new changes in my life. (I also do not really enjoy blogging about the details of my life, however I do love to read other people's blogs!)

So, I am signing off for now...but before I do....I must let you know that sweet Madison was born in August.

All of My Belly Shots

Hi! So, I promised to show a belly shot! I only took two "official" belly shots the whole pregnancy--one at 10 weeks (being silly) and one at 38 weeks (today). These are the smallest and largest bellies I have had...so you can just use your imagination for everything in between! :) Enjoy!

Quarterly Update :)

I can't believe it has been so long since I have blogged!

We moved to Utah in May. I have not been taking enough good pictures! I have taken most all of my pictures on my phone, and I am not sure how to upload those yet!

Here is a summary of what we have been doing:

Swimming: love having a pool at our apartment!


Lots of kids activities! The farm, aquarium, zoo, museums, you name it!


We love visiting the Temple grounds together as a family! There are so many beautiful Temples so close to us! Two are in our city!


We were having non-stop fun, enjoying the many family-friendly activities this area has to offer, until things got a little complicated. First I got Bronchitis, then I had a yucky foot injury. So, it is a little harder to get around now.

Rob loves his new job and we love getting to play as a family like never before. We feel so blessed to have this time!

I realize I do not have any pregnancy pictures! Oh, well here is one, I guess (from my friend's baby blessing).

I promise to take a real belly shot sometime this week!
